The Collins Cup
The Collins Cup is an annual tournament honoring Ross Collins. Members earn their way into the event by accumulating points throughout the year in tournament play. Points are awarded based on the chart below. The top twenty-four places are given the right to play in this much-anticipated event. Captains from the golf shop staff choose two teams, the “Leftys” and “Rightys”. The significance of the team names is that Mr. Collins was an accomplished golfer from both sides of the ball. Two days of match play determine the winner of the cup with the names of the players being engraved on the trophy.
