RIVERHILL MANSION Est. 1901 The elegant three-story mansion that Gustave Fritz and Huldah Schreiner built in the early 1900s was the center of social activities in Kerrville and the surrounding area. Today its grand warmth recalls the splendor of those days, while offering a classic dining and event center.
The outside of this one-of-a-kind historical mansion has two stories of wide, columned verandas overlooking the immaculate lawns, gardens, and greens. This expanse of natural beauty sets a scene of timeless luxury for stunning weddings hosted at Riverhill. Inside is an inviting, stately foyer leading into a warm seating area with original fireplace and walls of windows overlooking the front lawns. Through these open rooms with gorgeous views, guests are welcomed into two dining halls, the Garden Room and the Dining Room, both for elegant dining.
In the stately, masculine Antelope Room and also along the original stairway are imported, antique etched-glass windows. Up the winding staircase are ballrooms with antique seating arrangements by windows overlooking the azure colored hills of Kerrville. Behind the scenes in this historic home is a century-old wine cellar built by the original owners and a large industrial kitchen to make each event outstanding. Indeed, each meal is an event with succulent dinners prepared by Executive Chef Jason Quirie.
